2. Principles of data processing

Personal data is only processed to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and to handle your inquiries. There is no sharing with third parties for advertising purposes, no profiling, and no automated decision-making.

All fonts and other resources of this website are served locally from its own server. When you visit the website, no connections to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts, CDNs, external captcha or analytics services) are established.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by the following provider: Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. Where required, a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with the provider. In addition, traffic to this website is routed through the network of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (content delivery network and protection against attacks). Cloudflare processes technical connection data such as IP addresses as a processor. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; any transfer of data to the USA takes place on this basis (Art. 45 GDPR).

When you access this website, the web server automatically records information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of the request, page accessed, browser and operating system used, and referrer URL. This data is used to ensure trouble-free operation and to defend against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website). Log files are automatically deleted after a short period, usually no later than seven days.

4. Contact form and email contact

If you send me an inquiry via the contact form or by email, the data you provide (name, email address, company if applicable, and your message) will be processed exclusively to handle the inquiry and for possible follow-up questions.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your inquiry is related to the initiation or performance of a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering inquiries). The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for processing and no statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Security code (captcha)

To protect the contact form against automated abuse, a self-hosted security code is used. It is generated and verified entirely on this website's own server; no external captcha services (such as reCAPTCHA or hCaptcha) are embedded and no personal data is transmitted to third parties. Verification uses a cryptographically signed, time-limited value that contains no personal data.

6. No cookies, no tracking

This website does not set cookies and does not use any analytics, tracking or advertising services. Your language selection is reflected solely in the address of the page you visit (URL) and is not stored.

7. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the browser address line beginning with "https://".

8. Your rights

You have the following rights vis-à-vis the controller with regard to your personal data: right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You may revoke any consent given at any time with effect for the future.

9. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
